When someone important to me leaves my life for good, I get rid of everything that reminds me of them. Delete their text messages and block their number, rip all their photos, delete all their emails, shred letters and notes. Delete them from my life. Because it hurts too much being reminded of them and what we used to have. To look at an old photograph or read an old letter from them spilling their feelings out and remember how much everything changed. When they said forever, it only really meant until they got bored but you were stupid enough to believe them.
